Chaz Compton has been working in the field of Human Services for over 25 years. He has been an Administrator of a large Community Rehabilitation Program in Northern California, and a Counselor, Supervisor and Resources Specialist for the Department of Rehabilitation. Chaz spent the last ten years as the District Administrator for the California Department of Rehabilitation’s San Diego District, which includes all of San Diego County and Southern Orange County. In January of 2011, Chaz became the Project Director for the TACE program for Region IX. Chaz has his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership through San Diego State University. He has a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from SDSU, is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and has a post-graduate certificate in Rehabilitation Administration. Chaz has been teaching in the distance and on-campus Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling program at SDSU for ten years. |
