Phone: (619) 594-7935 Tom Siegfried has been involved in vocational rehabilitation programs for over 30 years. In that time period, Dr. Siegfried served as an adjunct faculty member at San Diego State University Rehabilitation Counselor Program for over sixteen years. He has been the Director of Continuing Education at Interwork Institute for over ten years and acting Director of the Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program (TACE IX) for Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawai’i, American Samoa, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands for the past nine years. Tom received his Ph.D. in Human Rehabilitation at the University of Northern Colorado in 2000. He received his Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1976 from San Diego State University. Dr. Siegfried’s primary focus is providing technical assistance consultation and staff development programs for VR agencies. He has taught in both on-campus settings, as well as through distance education programs. He has been instrumental in the development of many online education programs at Interwork Institute, including the Navigator Training Series and eRehab. Dr. Siegfried has extensive experience in both public and private practice settings with vocational testing, career counseling, job analysis, strategic planning, marketing, quality assurance, staff training and development. He has worked with client service programs for Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration, community colleges, government agencies and secondary school districts. Dr. Siegfried has also provided comprehensive employee service programs for business and industry including Boeing, Steelcase, TRW, 3M Dental, National Steel and Shipbuilding, and Xerox Corporation. |
