Through partnerships, the Center seeks to assist in building capacity within the Pacific Region to develop "Pacific Solutions" to problems and issues.. There is a great and emerging expertise within the Pacific that the Center respects and is proud to be associated with.

Masters of Arts in Education Postsecondary Leadership

The emphasis in Educational Leadership prepares individuals to serve in leadership roles in community colleges, universities, technical schools, governmental and adult schools as well as proprietary institutions in both national and international settings. Some of these roles will include positions such as college and technical school teachers, community college deans, and college directors.

This course of study is specifically intended for persons who currently teach or train others in the workplace, who design and teach competency workshops or seminars, who teach vocational or continuing education courses, or who teach skills-based subjects to adults.

 

Special Education Teacher Training Initiative (SETTI)

The FSM-Special Education Teacher Training Initiative (SETTI) uses innovative Distance Learning methods to meet the challenge within FSM of providing significant long-term educational programs and services for children with disabilities.

3D-SPED Bachelors Degree in Education

The SDSU undergraduate degree offered in this program is the major in interdisciplinary studies in three departments through the College of Education and the Division of Undergraduate Studies. This interdisciplinary degree has been specifically designed with coursework that will provide special education teachers in the FSM with a strong foundation in research-based education philosophy and instructional methods.
