Checklist for Bachelor Students

  1. Admission to the University and Program

    1. Submit resume and student copy academic transcripts to program advisor for review and determination of selection eligibility.

    2. Submit a completed official San Diego State University Undergraduate Application to the University. (See catalog or advisor for submission dates and deadlines). You must matriculate to the university to graduate.

    3. Submit official copies of transcripts to the University.

    4. Submit copy of application and student copies of transcripts to program advisor.

  2. Graduation Competency Examinations

    1. The California State University System requires demonstration of competency through examination in the following areas: Writing, Mathematics, California Government, and US Constitution. These competency requirements must be met to earn your degree.

    2. Your BVE Advisor will assist you with satisfying these requirements. This will be part of your degree plan.

  3. Graduation: The University commencement ceremony is at the end of each Spring semester.

    1. You must apply for graduation during the semester you anticipate completing all of your degree requirements. Reference General Catalog for application deadlines.
