Are you searching for new, innovative approaches to learning? Looking to extend your training services to a wider, more diversified audience? The Interwork
Institute Collaborative for Distance Learning (II-CDL) provides customized and innovative education and training solutions to audiences nationally and internationally..
Mission
The Institute's efforts focus on promoting the integration of all individuals, including those with disabilities, into all aspects of school, work, family,
and community life.
The Power of Distance Learning
State of the art electronic tools and technologies available today make it easy to access high quality education and training programs. Distance education
now can be as rigorous and as exciting as more traditional learning environments. Instruction that is personalized and grounded in real world settings
enable learners to apply new knowledge and skills almost immediately.

Connecting People to People
Distance education plays a valuable role in accessing learning anytime, anywhere, delivering education without disrupting lifestyles. Through our programs,
students establish networks with peers, colleagues and experts around the world, enabling collaboration no matter the physical location of participants.
By maximizing technologies and distance strategies, we help educators establish online communities that encourage open dialog and interaction.
To sustain the powerful online communities that students develop within the academic programs, we are developing a virtual space for students to meet and
converse outside of the classroom. Our Virtual University will simulate a campus environment, offering students a place to interact in a casual setting
with each other as well as instructional and distance learning staff. In addition, students will be able to manage administrative needs such as signing
up for classes and checking grades just as they could on campus.
Learning communities are able to further build a network of resources and support systems as students move from educational activities into their professions.
